Kevin Hoo
Managing Partner
Kevin Hoo is the Managing Partner of Cove, where he leads the firm’s acquisition, financing, and asset management strategies. With a career built on cultivating strong joint venture and capital partner relationships, Mr. Hoo has overseen over $3 billion in direct real estate transactions. His expertise spans development, capital projects, and negotiating over one million square feet of leases across 90 distinct transactions.

Mr. Hoo holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce (with honors) and a Bachelor of Law (with honors) from the University of Queensland, Australia.

Amit Patel
Partner & COO
Amit Patel is a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer at Cove, where he oversees all operational aspects of the firm, including Finance, Legal, HR, IT, Risk Management, and Compliance, in addition to key elements of the firm's Asset Management activities.

Before joining Cove, Amit worked at Barclays Investment Bank, leading strategic and operational initiatives across Europe and the Americas. Prior to Barclays, he spent several years in management consulting at Roland Berger, advising Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 companies on operational improvement and optimization strategies.

Amit holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Michigan, respectively. He also earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and an MS in Engineering Management from Northwestern University.

Paul King
Managing Director
Paul King is a Managing Director at Cove, where he heads the firm’s Design and Construction group. Prior to joining Cove, he held senior management positions at Skanska, Jones Lang LaSalle, and Tishman Speyer, where he played a leadership role in over 40 million square feet of national and international commercial office and mixed-use projects.

With nearly 30 years of experience in construction management, project management, and real estate development, Mr. King has been involved in more than $30 billion worth of prominent projects. His extensive background with industry-leading firms has been instrumental in the successful execution of large-scale developments.

Mr. King earned a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development & Investment from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.

Eric Brauner
Senior Associate
Eric Brauner is a Senior Associate at Cove, where he focuses on new acquisitions and asset management. Prior to joining Cove, Mr. Brauner worked at Tishman Speyer, focusing on investments in the firm’s New York office and residential portfolios. He also gained experience at Resource Real Estate, underwriting and closing over 2,000 multifamily units in transactions across the United States.

Mr. Brauner is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association of New York. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Marianne Perry
Executive Assistant
Marianne Perry is an Executive Assistant with Cove Property Group where she directs the administration of the office including human resources, accounting, and compliance functions. In addition, Ms. Perry provides support to the Executive team and technical and operational assistance on Cove’s ongoing projects. Prior to joining Cove, Ms. Perry worked as an Executive Assistant to the Global CIO at Nomura, an Analyst to the CAO of Risk Technology at Citigroup and an Associate/Executive Assistant at Hycroft Advisors. Ms. Perry earned her Bachelor of Arts at Parsons School of Design.
